This policy explains how Nivo Solutions collects, uses, shares and safeguards personal information when you interact with us or use our services.
Nivo Solutions is the responsible party for personal information processed for its own business purposes. Questions and privacy requests may be sent to hello@nivo.solutions.
We process personal information in line with applicable South African law, including the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).
We may collect names, business and contact details; enquiries, quotations, contracts, approvals and support messages; billing, delivery and procurement records; supplied artwork, content and technical specifications; domain, hosting, device, licence and system information; and website data such as IP addresses, browsers, pages viewed, timestamps and security logs.
We use information to respond to enquiries, prepare quotations, deliver and support services, manage accounts, payments, renewals, warranties and deliveries, protect our systems, improve our services, maintain required records and comply with legal obligations.
Where applicable, processing is based on consent, steps requested before a contract, performance of a contract, a legal obligation or a legitimate interest that does not unjustifiably override your rights. We do not sell personal information.
We share only what is reasonably necessary with relevant hosting and cloud providers, domain registries, technology vendors, printers, manufacturers, couriers, procurement suppliers, accounting providers, advisers and authorities. Some providers may process information outside South Africa; we take reasonable steps to use appropriate safeguards under POPIA.
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures, including appropriate access controls, supplier management and secure configurations. We retain information only as long as reasonably required for the stated purpose, contracts, warranties, disputes and legal or tax records, then delete, de-identify or securely dispose of it where practicable.
Subject to applicable law, you may ask whether we hold your information, request access or correction, request deletion, object to certain processing, or withdraw consent. We may verify your identity before actioning a request. You may also complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa).
For client websites, applications, systems or cloud environments, the client may determine why and how personal information is processed and generally acts as the responsible party. Nivo Solutions then acts as an operator on documented instructions, subject to the applicable agreement and law.
We may update this policy when our services, providers or legal requirements change. The current revision date appears above. Questions or requests can be sent to hello@nivo.solutions.
